About the Game:
Endless Roots is a relaxing puzzle game where players match pairs of colourful root vegetables hidden across multiple soil layers. As players dig deeper, they must remember positions and strategically uncover the board to clear matching pairs. The game offers nine levels, gradually increasing in complexity, with simple yet engaging mechanics that create a soothing, meditative experience.

• Designed around the Global Game Jam 2023 theme “Roots”, incorporating additional diversifiers like Zen, Old meets New, The world is a better place with more creators in it, and An image is worth 1000 words.

• Focused on creating a visually appealing, stress-free puzzle loop, perfect for players seeking a calm, satisfying gameplay session.

• Developed the game over a 48-hour jam, handling both gameplay design and art direction.
