Endless Roots
Endless Roots is a puzzle game where the player's objective is to match two root vegetables of the same type across multiple layers. The player must navigate through different layers of soil to find pairs of matching vegetables and remove them from the board. The game becomes more challenging as the player advances through each level, with an endless number of levels available for the player to tackle. The gameplay mechanics are simple, yet engaging, and the colorful root vegetables make for a visually appealing experience. The game is perfect for those looking for a fun and relaxing puzzle experience.
The game was made for Global Game Jam 2023. The theme for this jam was "Roots". Along with the main theme we focused on a few diversifiers - "The world is a better place with more creators in it", "Old meets new", "Zen" and "An image is worth 1000 words".
