“Distant Reflections” is a heartfelt visual novel about revisiting the fragments of the past and finding the courage to shape your future.

While cleaning out her late grandmother’s attic, Isha stumbles upon a peculiar set of "memory bubbles." Each holds a cherished moment from childhood and adolescence and the lessons that shaped her journey to adulthood. Through these fleeting memories, Isha reflects on the kindness she shared, the courage she found, the dreams she nurtured, and the growth she embraced.

As the story unfolds, Isha is reminded that life, like a bubble, is delicate and fleeting, but it carries immense beauty if you take the time to look closely.

The game was made for Global Game Jam 2025. The theme for this jam was "Bubble". Along with the main theme, we focused on a few diversifiers: "Unite Generations", "Tranquillity", and "In a liminal space".
